1. 한국은 developed country? emerging country?

• Vanguard classifies Korea as a developed market, while iShares classifies Korea as an emerging market.
• This means mixing Vanguard Developed Markets + iShares Emerging Markets would "double" your Korea exposure, while the vice-versa would leave you without Korea.
• This has been well known and widely discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find a good reference for it, so wanted to create that here.

뱅가드는 한국을 developed market으로, ishares(blackrock)는 한국을 emerging market으로 규정해 etf를 섞어서 헤징하려 할 때 문제가 될 수도 있다는 글.

솔직히 내가 etf의 종류에 대해서 잘 모르니 어느 정도로 문제가 되는지는 몰라도, 선진국-개도국 etf를 페어로 잡아서 리스크 헤징하려고 할 때 한국이 너무 많이 들어가든, 아예 안들어가는 문제는 고려해볼 만한 거 같은디?
